Ministries: School Supply Donation
There are so many families unemployed in today’s tough economy. Many are having a hard time purchasing food. Their children are suffering in class every day. Many are embarrassed, humiliated because they cannot afford the supplies to do their work. Won’t you set in place a day to hold a seminar in your community to gather volunteers and donations for your children’s future. Below Evangelistic Resource Center found a list used by many other organizations already helping these children and teachers. Let us not forget the teacher. Many use their own salaries to supply the underprivileged children with their daily school needs.

Consider adopting a family in your neighborhood is working two jobs to survive. Take up some of their work load at home. Mow their lawn, offer to pick their children up from school. In other words offer a lending hand. Talk to them about taking their child fishing, creating a bond needed in the family. Take the child camping, hiking, skiing, boating, get them away from the high tech world of computers and games for a little while. School is great, but think about ways to balance the child’s life.
